Jan 1st was celebrated as The Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eight days after his birth he was taken to be circumcised and his name proclaimed in the public ritual. The name means One who Saves. On Jan 1. St Paul's was please to have a baptism, naming the child in public and marking him as Christ's own forever.

Sunday Services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church  

Sunday Services - 8:00 a.m. - Traditional Rite I service with no music.                                            10:00 a.m.  Traditional, but upbeat service with music.          
                             10:00. a.m. Sunday School    

Please note: On Sunday January 29th there will be a 9:30 a.m. service followed by the Annual Meeting and PotLuck.  This is in accordance with the Canon's of the Episcopal Church. We vote for new vestry members, eat good food, review the financial year as well as take a fun look at our life together in 2011. Guests are always welcome to join us for the Pot Luck and leave at their leisure.                                                                                      

Wednesday Services - Difficulty in getting to church on Sunday? Don't have much time in your day for the typical hour service? Not brought up in the church, but feeling your spirit pulled to explore faith? Join us for a half hour of prayer and reflection each Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Jan 9th, Monday - First Friends Montessori Christmas Concert, 7 p.m.                          

Jan, 11, 18, 25, Wednesday, half hour service at 7 p.m. Bible Study begins at 7:30 for those seeking a deeper understanding of the evening's reading. 

Jan. 15, Sunday 9 a.m. - Grounded in Gratitude Team meets.

Jan. 17, Tuesday, 7 p.m. - Beer and Bible Study meets at the Office Pub. We continue studying the Gospel of Mark.

Jan. 20, Friday, 7 p.m. - In-house music fest. You do not need to be a member of this congregation to join us for an evening of singing and playing instruments. Just bring your voice and any musical instrument you have and come and jam with us.

Jan. 26, Thursday, 7 p.m. - Vestry Meeting.

Jan. 29th, Sunday - One service at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Annual Meeting and Pot Luck.
