News and
Reviews - St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Camp Compassion
Each year, youth from the Diocese of Michigan attend a
Mission Trip. This year we are staying close to home. Thirty Missioners
will be staying at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac. All Saints is
centrally located in Pontiac and serves the surrounding community,
especially the children. One of our projects is to help refurbish the
gym and classrooms. Another team of missioners will be heading to
Canterbury on the Lake, a senior independent and assisted living
complex, to do various projects needed there. We will be doing various
other projects while there. Rev. Stacy Salles will be the only member of
St. Paul's attending the Mission trip this year.
Youth Lock-In
Each October we have a youth lock-in. In 2009, St. Mary's in the Hills,
Lake Orion, joined us for a fun evening. Photo's from past youth events
can be seen at the
following link.
Episcopal Relief Development Fund
2007
The Young Adults reached their goal of $750 plus for the Episcopal
Relief Development Fund so that a community in the third world will have
clean and safe drinking water. For a small donation, the young
adults set pink flamingo's into an unsuspecting person's yard. See
photo's of the group's
flockings.
